I'm a stay-home mom of a four-year-old boy and a two-year-old girl. I'm a bookworm and bibliophile. I'm a hobby baker and cake decorator (but not so much lately). I'm a former first-grade teacher and will go back to teaching after kids are in school. I love coffee and crossword puzzles, maps and libraries, the smell of Dreft and irises, playdates and baby smiles, gin and tonics and the changes of the seasons, road trips and used bookstores.

What a relaxing beach day...
Ah yes I remember all that gear. We bought one of those surf roller things that carries all your crap and has nice big wheels for the sand. What a life saver that was just getting from the car to the beach.
I'm relaxed just looking at those. Were you able to?
