I got North Central. Minn. or Canadian. Hmmm. Talking to strangers on the phone--like at work--I get accused of having an accent. No one can tell me what kind but an accent nonetheless.

I got Midland - makes sense (Indiana-raised). But it says I have a good voice for broadcasting. Good accent, maybe, but not a good voice!

Hah, I got Midland, too - basically a non-accent, which is what people usually say about my accent (or lack thereof).

The dawn/don part really got me - when we lived in RI I used to get a kick out of hearing our friends say the two so differently (I pronounce them the same).

Fun quiz!

Living in Virginia for 8 years has actually made me soften my dawn/don difference, but I still give them a little bit of difference. Dawn has the same sound as cawfee (coffee), talk, and long! :)
